i am tathagata (he/him).

i am a 28 year old type & graphic designer, currently based in bangalore, india.

i was born and brought up in a small town called barasat, west bengal. i can speak, read and write in bangla, english and hindi. i am currently working at ek type, a type design studio based in mumbai, india, where i specialise in designing indic scripts. i have around 3 years of professional experience in graphic design. other than type design, some of the areas i enjoy working in include lettering, publication and motion graphics. i also have a keen interest in creative coding where i explore generative art through controlled randomness.

আমি তথাগত।

আমি একজন ২৮ বছর বয়সী টাইপ ও গ্র্যাফিক ডিসাইনার, বর্তমানে ব্যাঙ্গালোর (ভারত) নিবাসী।

​আমার জন্ম ও বড় হওয়া বারাসাত (পশ্চিমবঙ্গ) নামের একটি ছোট শহরে। আমি বাংলা, ইংরেজি ও হিন্দি-তে পড়তে, লিখতে ও কথা বলতে পারি। মুম্বাইতে অবস্থিত টাইপ ডিসাইন স্টুডিও এক টাইপ-এ আমি ইণ্ডিক লিপি নিয়ে চর্চা করছি। গ্র্যাফিক ডিসাইনে আমার ৩ বছরের মত প্রোফেশনাল অভিজ্ঞতা আছে। হরফ বানানো ছাড়া লেটারিং, প্রকাশনা ও মোশন গ্র্যাফিক্স সম্পর্কিত বিষয় নিয়ে কাজ করতে আমি পছন্দ করি। ক্রিয়েটিভ কোডিং-য়েও আমার যথেষ্ট আগ্রহ আছে।

আমাদের বাড়িতে দুটি বিড়াল আছে, চিক্কি ও মিমি। দর্শন ও রাজনীতির বিষয়ে শিখতে আমি পছন্দ করি। ফুটবল, দাবা ও dota2 খেলতে আমি ভালোবাসি। সমমনস্ক লোকেদের সাথে কাজ করতে এবং অন্তর্দৃষ্টিপূর্ণ আলোচনায় অংশ নিতে আমি পছন্দ করি। কোনো প্রজেক্টে যদি আপনি মনে করেন যে আমি হয়ত সাহায্য করতে পারি, বা শুধু হাই-হ্যালো বলতে (আমাকে বা আমার বিড়ালদের) যোগাযোগ করতে পারেন :)
